I created a custom index and need to see everything in it. How would I do that in the "Search Preview" section of the Smart Search index? What do I enter in the keyword textbox? I tried using nothing but find the search doesn't come up.
I found the answer. I had to enter ":" in the keyword textbox to get all results. Thanks.
If you place the smart search webpart with search results on your template you will be able to use that after it is configured. Be sure to check the box to search with every postback if you want it to display results without any text entered.
