Excluding certain fields from searching

Hello All,

Can we do some settings so that when Lucene return results it excludes results with query string matching in node alias path

E.g abc.com/hello-halo is getting returned in search results if I'm searching for hello. Since hello is matched in node alias path.

I know I can do field based search but unfortunately we have document types of varied length and field.

Please suggest if any thing possible.

Hi Chetan,

You could exclude the DocumentNamePath or DocumentUrlPath from Content field to achieve the desired results. Please go to Modules -> E-commerce -> Classes -> SKU -> Search and uncheck the content option for one or both fields mentioned above.

Hi Chetan,

What version of Kentico are you using? In case you are using version 7, please go to Site Manager -> Development -> System tables -> Ecommerce SKU -> Search fields
