Event log file in my file system is around 20 gb. In settings->system->event log, i have unchecked the save to file-system and only left save to database. but log file in file-system is still there. should i directly delete it?
Yes you can directly delete those files assuming you are not using them for anything. AFAIK there is no scheduled task to clean them up, it's a manual process.
