ErrorConversion objects cannot be imported due to license limitations.

I am trying to import a site, and I am getting the following error: Conversion objects cannot be imported due to license limitations. License for feature 'CampaignAndConversions' not found. I de-selected all On-Line marketing from the import and now I am getting this error: Device profile objects cannot be imported due to license limitations. License for feature 'DeviceProfiles' not found.

I am importing into a multi-site installation. One site has a valid license, but the site I am importing to is currently using a free license. I just want to confim is this is expected and we should not proceed until we have a regular license installed.

Hi Breck,

If I remember correctly, Device Profiles you can deselect during the import as well. Check those out in Global Objects > Development section

Best would be to use a proper license, especially if you plan on using these features. Even if the objects are already present for another site. Not importing these type of items removes all bindings to it for your new site. Meaning they will not be automatically restored when putting in the full license.

Also note: not sure if this is development or actual production instance, but be careful that some global tasks might not be running properly when triggered by the "free-edition" one.

To add to what was written above - make sure the domain name set when importing the site matches a license key in the target system with appropriate edition, feature set. Plus, what version you are using? There were also some licensing bugs fixed. You should check the hotfixes page and apply the latest hotfix.
