Error when using ASPX + Portal template

Hi,

I've created a template following the steps in this article exactly.

I then created a couple of test pages and assigned this template to them. Strangely, when I add web parts to the zones, they are appearing on every page using that template, and if I try and remove them in the designer I get the following error.

Hi Stuart When you assign the same template to multiple pages, this template is consider reusable, so any template level component change will affect all pages using this template. So that's the correct behavior.

Now the add/remove web parts, where are you adding/removing them? In Visual studio or in CMS under DESIGN tab?
