Hello,
We have an email job that is scheduled to run every week. It sends 1 email to approximately 2500 people, all of who are in the CC list of the email.
We have noticed that not everybody gets the email, but we've no idea why. When we pull the addresses into a text file, it looks like those at the top of the list get the email and those at the bottom of the list don't (although we can't be sure where the cut off is as we don't have access to the email logs)
Initially we thought there might have been a limit on the email server and it wouldn't allow us to send this many CC'd emails, however we've been assured this isn't the case.
Does anyone know what might be causing this problem? Is it maybe timing out or something of that nature?
Are you sending your emails using the Email Queue? If so, you can see the list of sent vs. not sent emails. There is also a web.config setting you can add to have the event log sent to text as well which might help you search a little easier.
