Editor Permission for specific culture

Tobias Beckendorff asked on July 5, 2018 13:20

Hi everybody,

On an multilingual site (Kentico 10), is it possible to configure a role so that a user can edit pages of a specific culture but cannot edit pages of another culture?

Thanks in advance,

Tobi

@Tobias,

As per @Brenden post, we can configure user specific culture using Users Application but not possible to configure Role specific culture.

Steps:

  1. Go to Users Application
  2. Edit specific User
  3. Select Languages tab and set user specific culture.

Yes in general but no to a specific role. Go to the Users Application and find the user. When you're viewing the user select Languages in the left column and add or remove languages there. If they have a global admin role they will always see all languages.
