Is it possible to set up the edit contribution webpart and have it edit a page different than the one it is placed on?

Hi,

Yes, the contribution web parts have the "Alternative form name:" property in which you can use the alternative forms created by you.

I think you may not understand what I am asking. When I use the edit contribution web part, The user has to be on the page they want to edit. What I was wondering was, is there was a way for them to edit a page with that web part other than the one they were on. if there was some sort of way to pass in the id of the page I want them to edit. I would like to have the web part show in a model from an admin section.
