Edit button in Live site modus not working

The style of the standard Kentico 'Edit button' has been removed and the text is non-clickable. So all I see is a plain text 'edit page'. This only happened in one site that I was creating and only in a later stage.

Any idea how to solve this?

Hi Evine,

You didn't need to remove it, you need to add a css property display: none for this button which will hide this element.

Maybe I was not clear, but I do want it to be shown and working. Not to hide it... Can you help me with that?

You will need to figure out which one of your custom site styles is conflicting with the edit button style. Easiest thing to use is F12 from Chrome or IE or even Firefox. Should give you an inspector to review the styles and classes around or over the element(s).
