Easiest way to delete a full culture

Kurt Muller asked on April 9, 2018 13:30

hi all,

Can someone please point me in the right direction to delete a full culture from my site. I really don't want to delete page by page before I can remove the culture.

Please tell me there's a better way :)

In the pages app:

  • select your culture in the bottom left of the content tree
  • select the top most parent master page node
  • click delete and confirm delete all pages from that culture.
  • go to Sites and remove that culture from the site.

You can do it at the site level:

  1. Go to Sites.
  2. Choose your site.
  3. Choose culture.
  4. Remove Culture.

Unfortunately, that doesn't work as you have to delete all the pages inside the culture first before i can remove the culture.

Well you may try to delete all documents from the tree. Go to root, switch to listing, choose all documents and choose your culture. Choose delete action. If you have too many documents then you probably need to do it via API.
