Develope website with External database

Is there any steps, without using Kentico database we can develope web site with other database ?

No Sadesh You Can't. kentico itself Generate Database when you install Kentico in your System. Yes you Can Shared Your Database With Server(like as SVN).

I think this depends on what your "other" database is.

  • If you're talking Oracal or DB2 database then no, Kentico only works with MS SQL Server.
  • If you're talking about hosting your website on one server and connecting to your database on another server then yes, this isn't a problem.
  • If you're talking about using Kentico without the default installed database tables and such, then no, you need to have the base database structure in place in order for Kentico CMS to work.
