Deleting a workgroup

Hi,

Recently I have been working on the intranet theme of Kentico and I have run into a little snag.

There is an issue with removing workgroups. From what I can gather there is only a brief mention on deleting workgroups in the Kentico 7 documentation, which states

Deleting workgroups

Workgroups cannot be removed from the portal via the front-end website. Please contact your system administrator if you need a workgroup to be deleted.

I am working with Kentico 8, has the situation remained the same? What do I need to do to actually remove a workgroup?

I have removed a workgroup by doing it in the admin but it seems that the workgroup still exists in the database.

In Kentico 8 its called Groups
