Customized central media library for all websites

Hi All,

I am working for a multi website webprojcet with a huge media library files per website. I am looking for a solution to define central media library where all the regional web representatives can upload the media files.

The files will be extacted with the help of a webservice where we can define weblinks. There is a webaccelarator running which may serve cache content. We are expecting faster response to user browser.

Please suggest me the best possible way to achieve the centralized media library option.

Kentico has a per site Media Library and not a global solution. You might check into a CDN service like Amazon.

Thank you for your message.

That is correct, according to Media_Library table our libraries are bounded to a particular SiteID so inside CMS desk you would need customization in order to show all media libraries. However that doesnt mean that you could not get the media libraries files in API by selecting the them manually from Media_File table.
