Custom table cannot be added to the selected site due to license limitations.

I failed to add my custom table to my site. When I clicked save, it showed a message "Custom table cannot be added to the selected site due to license limitations." The table is created and saved but it is not added to the site.

I am sure the site has a full license already. It is a Version 8 site with base license. However, I suppose a base license site does not have any limitations on using custom table.

How can I fix the problem and add custom table to my site?

With a base license you can have unlimited custom tables. Do you have other example sites installed in that instance? If so you should remove them. Also, do you have a proper license key in place for the domain being used? For example, if your "localhost" license is a free license but your main domain is a base license and you're making your updates on "localhost" it will give you that error.

Thanks for giving clues on the license.

I just found there is a free license among the list of license. It is working now after I deleted the free license. (By the way, I was thinking the full license should override the free license somehow. But it seems to me that it is not working in the way I think.)
