Custom macro not resolve in page template

How are you using your macro. Your question is very vague and hard to troubleshoot when you give no details.

Technically, macros cannot be used in the template layout, you'd use your custom C# method or function. If you're using your macro within a web part property on the template, then I'd check out the Debug portion of Kentico.
