Custom form control

Hi,

I have created a custom form control but I am running into a problem where it is not showing on the form. Checking the event log I receiving the following error:

Could not map draganddropfileupload field type.

I am not sure what I am doing wrong as I have followed the Kentico documentation to create the new form control.

Any help would be appreciated.

So I don't believe 'draganddropfileupload' is a default Kentico type, is this the control name you created? I think you entered the name of your control instead of adding the proper field type.

Where are you using the control? In the admin or in a Bizform?

Hi David,

Yes that is the name of the control I have created and that will be the code name.

I am using the control on a form. I have created them before this way and then just dragged them onto a form and they work fine. But it seems like now none of my custom controls are working.

When I look at the form fields it has created a field for me and my custom control is selected as the form control.

I am pretty confused with this one as I have gone over the kentico documentation and followed everything it has said.
