custom font folder -kentico 8.2

Hi, I am not much familiar with kentico . now got a requirement to use kentico 8.2 cms tool for live site design . now am trying to upload files from fonts (.eot, .svg, .ttf, .woff)folder through css themes. its shows the file types are not able to upload. how to upload this files and how to add references through admin portal Thanks in advance.

Hi,

It's not clear what are you trying to do. Where are you trying to upload these files? Is it in Media Library or what interface? Or is it CSS Stylesheets application (and by design it's for CSS only I guess)?

Typically we put these files somewhere into App_Themes folder and reference these files directly in layout. And not uploading those files via CMS interface, but just copy to file system (typically it is a part of automated rollout with continuous integration).

You can't upload those file types in the Kentico UI in the CSS Stylesheets app. You have to manually copy them through the file system. If you were adding them to the media library it would be a different story because you could adjust your settings to allow those file types
