Copy content from one language to another

Hi There,

I am using Kentico v10.0 for one of my clients websites and they have raised a good question.

I currently have two cultures for the website, the default and one other.

There are some pages that have different versions in both cultures. My client was wondering if it is possible to make changes to a page in one culture, and then copy these changes over to the other culture, without having to redo the changes (essentially making them the same in both cultures).

I hope this questions makes sense.

Cheers, Mitchell

The process for this would be to:

  1. Update the default culture version.
  2. Switch to the other culture in the Kentico UI
  3. Delete the same page in the other culture.
  4. Create the new page from the default culture in the other culture

There is nothing out of the box which automatically copies from one language to a other simply because they should be different translated content.
