Copy a BIZFORM to use as a template

Is there any way to export a bizform and import it with a different name? Created one form and would like to use it to duplicate it with different names?

You can clone it. When you clone it you can rename it.

If you were to export it, you'd have to modify the exported files manually before importing. It works but not a very simple task and could cause import problems if done incorrectly.

I am very new to Kentico, and we are on version 5.5R2. Is there a cloning feature available in 5.5R2?

I don't have a 5.5 site to test, but I believe it was introduced later. However, if it's really important you can use the API to do it.

5.5 does not have that ability. You have a few options though:

  • do as I suggested earlier and modify the exported xml files (simplest if you know what to modify)
  • do as Yehuda suggests (most involvement from a development standpoint)
  • manually recreate the form (easy for end user to do)
