Conversions for all forms on Site

SHANE EBERT asked on March 30, 2017 18:02

Hello,

I have successfully set up a conversion to track everytime a form is submitted on our contact page, which works great.

I want to be able to track conversions across ALL forms on our site. The problem is, EVERY page has a form, which would take me forever to go to every page and configure the form to be tracked by a conversion.

Now if I have to do that, OK, I can live with that, but I see another problem. How can I control new pages that are made to make sure the form is tracked with a conversion?

Is there an easier "Global" feature that will allow me to track ALL form submissions on our site, and will be dynamically updated whenever new pages are created?

Thanks

Form submission as activity is tracked globally automatic, but if you want to tie it to some conversion, you will have to do it one by one, unless the form is been added via a web part on a reusable template, then all pages using that template will be tracked with one configuration, and new page created using that template will automatically be tracked with the same conversion as well.

If different forms are added to each page using widgets, or those page use ad-hoc templates, you will have to do it the hard way.
