CommentView web part is not working

Hi,

When I create a blog in to my site, it displays blog heading in live site but it is not displaying comment view where user can comment on blog.

None of the below web parts are visible in live site

AttachmentsLightBox CommentView repeater

Please suggest.

Do you have your comments system configured for anonymous users to be able to comment or just authenticated users? The part will not show up if it is for authenticated unless you are logged in.

Did you check the Event Log for any errors? (CMS -> Event Log)

Also what are the settings you have for the Comment Repeater? Sounds like a misconfigured web part.

Hi,

If you use the default Kentico blog pages and templates you might want to check the following settings

Blog (page type)

  • Form tab:

Image Text

Blog post (page type)

  • Form tab

Image Text

This should at least show the Comments section.
