captcha image not always showing

Hello, we have this old site that has recently started having issues with the captcha. Sometimes the image doesn't show. Seems to happen more on an ipad. here is the page https://www.lifeflightmaine.org/Donation.aspx

It only happened to me the first time I went to the page. Could it be a caching issue? Are there any JS issues maybe blocking things prior to that loading?

I don't see any javascript issues. there is a font-awesome font file that isn't loading but I can't imagine that would be the issue. I've changed it to a different captcha and it seems to have stopped... but it still uses the generated image thing...

Hi Lawrence,

I'm having this same issue on my Kentico 10 page using the "Simple CAPTCHA" form control. It was fine for a bit, now the image fails randomly. There are no JS errors in the console.

I see that you switched to an Invisible ReCAPTCHA on your form: are you using a Kentico extension for that? If you did it manually, how did you implement the server-side part of it (assuming you're using Kentico Forms)?
