Cannot create a widget from inherited web part

I created a new web part by inherit from Repeater. Then I would like to create a new widget base on that Web Part that I just created. But I cannot see that web part in the list.

I am using Kentico V8.0. I am not sure if it's a limitation for widget or a bug on this version.

Any one has the same issue?

The solution is to clone/duplicate the original web part and then create the widget.
