I have a media selection field, when select an image, can we upload an image to content tree tab instead of media libraries tab.

When i tried to upload, it throw an error. "This page type is not allowed to be created here." http://prntscr.com/klv6zc
In Folder page type, i have checked all in Allowed child page types.
So, what page type can upload here!
On each page type you need to set parent/child permissions on where they can be placed. Most of the out of the box page types have them already set. On the page type, it's called Allowed Types.
Most likely you're looking at the wrong item.
