Can't seem to find web analytics application on dashboard

Victor Chin asked on December 16, 2016 07:59

Hi all,

I've been wanting to access the web analytics for a site I'm working on, but I can't seem to be able to find the web analytics application in the drop-down list when wanting to add another application to my dashboard. I've already enabled web analytics in the settings globally so I'm not sure what's going on. Is it because this something you'd have to pay extra for as an add-on? If it helps, there are other applications that i cannot find either but I don't really need them for what I'm working on right now. Also I understand that google analytics works better, but I just need access to the web analytics dashboard to put in an html script to show google analytics.

Thanks,

Victor

Sorry guys, the boss answered my question. It had to do with the license we bought.

You can use the Google Analytics web part in your master pages to simplify the integration (https://docs.kentico.com/k8/on-line-marketing-features/web-analytics/using-google-analytics). In addition, you can add a custom UI element that can link to the Google Analytics app and make it show up in the dashboard.
