Can't Login with Blank Password

I reset the administrator password to an empty string as I have forgotten the admin password. When I go to the logon page and logon with 'administrator' and no password it just redirects me to the site and I can't login?

What am I doing wrong?

Did you set it to NULL or an empty string? Should be an empty string.

Yes used the script found in another answer setting UserPassword to ''.
