Bullet list

Hi,

I am trying to add bullet listed points by clicking on the bullet list option in the rich text editor control in Kentico 10. But it does not appear. When I clicked number bullets it's working fine. I really need to use bulleted list.

Please let me know why its not working or what am I not doing right.

Hi Jeewani,

Can it be reproduced on all rich text editors? Even on empty one? Or is it specific to one place in your content? You can also check the exact HTML markup in rich text by clicking the Source button. Can you see ul tags appearing there when you create unordered list?

It's not reproduced on all rich text editors. Not even on an empty one. You can see it on source as below.

This is strange then. Do you see any javascript errors in the browser F12 console? And can you post a screenshot of your CMS admin area with rich text where you are trying to amend the list. Because the markup appears to be correct with ul and li tags..

Does your site have a specific stylesheet assigned to the WYSIWYG editor? If so, are there specific styles applied in there which remove the base bulleted list? You can check the Sites app to see if there is a WYSIWYG editor stylesheet applied or not.
