Anyone experiencing memory memory surges?

Hi,

I can not seem to find any issue after I installed Kentico 8 on server.

Memory rockets and I eventually need to shut the site down in iis.

I would like to hear if anyone has encounterd this? and if so, how you solved it.

Have you added any custom code that could be causing the problem? Is your Kentico install a website or web project? What are the running processes at the time of the problem?

no custom code. just the custom installation where I removed some modules.

I tried website project and web app.

I've found doing the custom install works best especially if you don't have a need for the other website templates. If you have an Ultimate license, I'd suggest not removing any modules as I've found some are dependent on others and it does cause some problems. This could be the issue you're having, IIS trying to compile something that doesn't exist and causes errors. Check out the server event log.

Also, what's your server setup? Do you have at least 2 CPU's? Found that works best.

tried a full install did not work.

I am using:

Windows server 2008 R2 Enteprise, SP1 IIS7

anyone else experiencing this issue?
