I am trying to display the form when someone adds a new product to the document tree from the dashboard. I made an alternative form with the codename of "insert" and it does not show up when I add new products.
What do you mean to the document tree from the Dashboard? Do you mean the Pages application? If yes, then you need to set this alternative form for the respective page type that represents this product.
How do I set an alternate form from the SKU class as the alternate form for a page type representing a product?
