AEM to Kentico Migration

Is it possible to migrate content from an AEM site to Kentico? Some tool or some way to automate the process rather than creating pages and manually plugging in content?

Hi, I had never importing anything from AEM site, but I can recommend you a tool that Kentico provides. It's Kentico Import Toolkit with that tool you can import data without writing custom importing module. More details you can find in documentation https://docs.kentico.com/k11/external-utilities/kentico-import-toolkit

Adiyah, when it comes to content migration, keep these in mind:

  • If the content is structured content (e.g. products, news, jobs, etc.) then you can create Page Types in Kentico and use the Import Toolkit Dawid mentioned by map the data fields.
  • If the content is unstructured like landing page, then it's better for you to manually bring it over. Also in the process consider how to use Kentico web parts/widgets instead of copy the whole HTML output of the page into Kentico.
