Adding columns/fields to class programatically

Hi, how can I programatically add columns to some class?

For example: I have bizform that i I want to use as advanced poll. I have to keep users id in the form in the same way as column ItemCreatedBy for Custom table. Users who create polls aren't experienced enough to create such field. Is it possible to do it programatically?

Hi,

I would recommend watching this webinar on Form engine. It is older but the idea is still the same. Also, this KB article talks about adding fields to document types - they are forms as any other so you can take inspiration from there as well.
