Do I need a web part?

Hello all,

I'm new to Kentico CMS as well as to this forum. Hopefully I haven't misclassified my issue. At any rate here is my problem: I have a page in KenticoCMS that I am editing and wish to add the output that is returned from my .aspx web application that I created in Visual Studio. Would I create a web part for this? A lot of forums have mentioned creating a web user control but I don't see that option in VS. Any suggestions or thoughts? I can clarify further as well as post code snippets as needed. Thanks in advance.

Hello.

I am not quite sure what exactly you mean by "aspx web application." Do you mean aspx page, acsx control or asp.net application? Any clarification would be very useful. Anyway, if you wish to create User control, every Visual Studio offers this option. It is called Web User Control project. You can see complete example of how to proceed here.
