U. S. Steel Tubular Products is North America’s largest fully integrated tubular products manufacturer. This oil and gas division of U.S. Steel has served the energy industry since 1901.
The end goal of the site was to improve user experience and traffic, decrease lost sales opportunities, and reduce sales support calls by eliminating manual processes.
HexaGroup developed interactive solutions on the Kentico platform to better serve potential and existing clients, while lowering customer service calls:

In addition, the site interface was developed following responsive design methodology, with all interactive tools fully functioning on desktop, tablet, and mobile platforms.
The website was officially launched on February 28 and, since then, U. S. Steel Tubular Products has seen a significant improvement in user experience and traffic, a decrease in lost sales opportunities, and a reduction in sales support calls as users can find the information they need on the website.
In addition, the site was acknowledged at the 28th Annual Crystal Awards in Houston on May 29, 2014, receiving the Crystal Award for the Business to Business Website category.

Graham & Brown is prized worldwide as a heritage wallpaper, paint and wall art suppliers.
The objective of the site was to create a beautifully designed, easy-to-use website with enhanced customer experience features, such as an ‘Inspiration and advice’ tab and an easy-to-use widget calculating the number of rolls required for the user’s wall.
Major consideration was given to the behind-the-scenes functionality of the website, so the front-end could be as user-friendly as possible. The website is responsive across desktop, tablet and smart phone. It’s also available in 8 languages including English, French, Portuguese and Chinese, with scope for more development as the business expands into new territories.

They wanted to delight customers and deliver an engaging and consistent user experience across all channels via responsive design. Metricon were looking for a tool for home owners to use again and again, referring back to their personalized information over time.
Using Kentico 7, Get Started built a site that brought together responsive design, social integration, Google Maps integration and PDF generation integration, while reducing content entry effort with re-usable content entry widgets and allowing customer self-segmentation and tailoring of experience based on region. A powerful search feature also allows fast access to Metricon products. Metricon now deliver an online experience that grows with customer engagement, empowering the customer over the life of their relationship with Metricon.

Smiths Connectors—part of Smiths Group PLC, which employs 23,000 workers in more than 50 countries—is a leading supplier of application-specific, high reliability electrical interconnect solutions.
The primary goal of the site was to leverage and represent the company’s new branding. Their website is primarily a sales tool and one of its most vital roles is showcasing their products and allowing users to search in a variety of ways. They needed the site to be an informative and educational tool for visitors, providing case studies, white papers and other technical content to reinforce knowledge of the products and markets.
Kentico 7 was chosen by the client for these features:

  • Multi-lingual capabilities
  • Managing a product database with enhanced search capabilities linking products to their various technologies, markets and product families
  • Database-driven News and Events that automatically update when outdated or new items are added
  • Mobile/tablet responsiveness, with a particular benefit gained from tablet responsiveness, which now allows their sales teams to display products easily via tablet during sales calls and trade show events

Brickworks is one of Australasia’s largest manufacturers of bricks, pavers and other related building products.
Developed in partnership with Brickworks’ agency, Tango, the new site was designed to better reflect Austral Bricks’ brand and product offering and provide customers with the ability to order products directly online. Tailor took advantage of several new features in Kentico to deliver e-commerce and provide different content to different states/markets. The new site is optimized for mobile devices, and integrates with third-party solutions including Salesforce and a 3D visualizer tool. Since its launch in 2013, the new site has been successful in terms of overall traffic, sales, and enquiries. As a result, the partner has gone on to use the Austral Bricks site as the ‘template’ for other Brickworks’ sites such as Austral Masonry and Austral Precast.

National MS Society

The National MS Society is a nonprofit organization providing resources and information to help those with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) manage the disease.
The Society’s goal for the site was to educate people about the resources and services available through the MS Society. The continued promotion of research funding, including local chapters’ fundraising activities is another important benchmark achieved with the new website.
DATA, Inc. developed the site within a framework of Kentico 7 features to take full advantage of the CMS’ capabilities. Specifically, the use of Kentico content widgets provided a means to deliver a responsive design across multiple platforms. Custom development using core features of Kentico was required to create a system of content inheritance from the national organization to local chapter levels. UI personalization coupled with workflows was used consistently to create the MS Society’s ideal content administrator experience. Since the website launch, the MS Society has seen increased activity nationwide including increased local chapter participation. Users’ feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.

Wragge Lawrence Graham & Co (WGL & Co) had become frustrated with their ageing CMS platform and the restrictions that it placed on their content editors. They wanted an easy to manage web platform that incorporated the latest web design and build trends.
MMT Digital, working alongside UK based creative design agency Omobono, used content centric responsive web design to ensure that the site looks and works perfectly on all existing and future device screens. To optimise the user experience, advanced tagging and filtering functionality were implemented to ensure that relevant content was displayed for the site visitor e.g. related news stories were suggested when a user was reading a particular article.
MMT Digital also applied advanced search features. This has resulted in users being able to search for a lawyer by using sector, location, service and role (job title). The initial feedback has been excellent and phase 2 looks like it will only heighten client satisfaction.

SOS Villages d’Enfants Monde is a non-denominational, non-governmental organization dedicated to helping orphans and other abandoned and destitute children in 134 countries.
The main goal for the site was to raise funds for each project and to present the funded projects to the public. Moreover, the website needed to be easy to use for the client to administer all pages quickly and with no hassle. As a result, Kentico 7 was implemented with the following features:

  • E-commerce and Integration with Saferpay payment gateway which allows online donations
  • A new Simplemap module allowing the display of SOS Village locations
  • A Crowdfunding module and real-time visualization of donations
  • Donation, donor and project management in the backend (a module for CMSDesk)

For over 40 years, SA Sport has been one of the most trusted gymnasium and sports equipment manufacturers in North America.
The aim of this project was to provide a better user experience to SA Sport’s customers and integrate an enterprise-level CMS (Kentico EMS 7) that would allow SA Sport staff to take their online marketing efforts to the next level. As a result, this e-commerce website is fully responsive to cater for all mobile devices and is available in U.S. and Canadian versions.
Besides the overall look, below are some other changes made:

  • Easier Navigation - Products have been categorized for quicker access and drop down menus allow clients to easily get to the product category they are interested in.
  • Product Information - Customers can get all details they need on products - from updated product descriptions and images, to related parts and products.

Ouellet is considered to be the uncontested leader in the designing, manufacturing, and marketing of electric heating products in North America.
The website has been designed to be trilingual (French, Canadian English and U.S. English) as the products and services are different in the United States and Canada. It is fully responsive, to be accessible any time to a broad range of mobile devices. Nexun Media implemented a web part with an external web service for connection to the company’s ERP to get the most up-to-date data for the dealer locator maps. Using the Custom tables module for the Product Selector Tools gives Ouellet the option to add or remove any questions or answers relating to their products. Ouellet love Kentico and this was the reason they chose it! This is their third corporate project on Kentico.
