Online marketing guide and Integration guide finished

   —
We have finished a couple of guides that should help you learn the new features of Kentico CMS 6.

Hi there,

I am happy to announce that we have finished the remaining documentation that was scheduled for the Kentico CMS 6 release.

Online marketing guide

This guide will lead you through the whole Kentico EMS functionality, how to set it up and how to use it. The guide is meant for both end users and developers. Each chapter starts with an introduction and general overview of what is available for end users and then explains the technical details and configuration to admins and developers.

You can find it here: http://devnet.kentico.com/docs/onlinemarketingguide/index.html

Integration guide

The integration guide is much more technical, leading you through the technical details of how the System integration bus feature works and how you can develop custom integration connectors for it.

You can find it here: http://devnet.kentico.com/docs/integrationguide/index.html

You can find both of them also in our standard documentation section here at DevNet:

Future plans

I hope you will find both of these guides useful. The next item on our plan is a review of the existing E-commerce guide to better incorporate the changes that were done in version 6, and also prepare it for the new improvements that we plan for version 7. We would like to have it by the end of this year, but it is quite complex, so it may take us a little more than that and I cannot promise you an exact date. The latest should be during January or February.

Some of you also asked about the upgrades of the developer posters. We plan to update them as well, but we are not yet sure how high they should be on our priority list compared to what we plan for version 7, so I would like to hear from you how important you think they are and how badly you want them, so let us know in comments.
