Choose Wisely: Campaign Emails Aren’t Newsletters

Preparing a successful email campaign isn’t an easy task and the last thing you want is to waste time on defining the target audience of your marketing emails. Therefore, Kentico 10 is coming with an improved experience for managing your email marketing audience and a new email marketing communication type.

We understand that different marketing emails require different audiences–the target audience for your monthly partner newsletter is going to change less often than your targeted campaign emails–and therefore a new feature in Kentico 10 will be the ability to leverage both Email Campaigns and Newsletters.

What’s the difference? As I already mentioned, the audience of the newsletters is going to change less often and therefore the contact base is shared for all the emails within a newsletter. On the other hand, emails that are part of an email campaign, have separate contact lists allowing you to target different customer segments or send them follow-up emails.

Moreover, working with email recipients has never been easier! With a contact as the main recipient entity available in all Kentico editions, you can easily define contact groups and quickly assign them to your emails.
