Lazyload For Kentico
Hi,

Is there in future you guys help to create a Lazyload using JQuery for bandwidth optimization. ive seen wordpress using it. Example: http://www.appelsiini.net/projects/lazyload

but currently the lazyload does not recognized by Webkit and consider obsolete. but ive seen bright future of using this because it will help optimize the bandwidth when loading Images or Text.

Ive done some research on this but hasnt fully working yet. Im trying to create something similar but hopefully it will be recognized by webkit. For now im using custom WebPart to detect any "img" tag and load it when people scrolling down the page. It works but some page using Kentico JQuery clashes with it.

Hope this ideas will improve kentico in future

RE:Lazyload For Kentico
Hi,

The Lazyload idea is indeed very good.
By Webkit, do you mean http://webkit.org/ ?
There are many posts discussing the incompatibility, some sites claim that it works with Webkit (like http://wonko.com/post/lazyload-200-released).

One way or another, I will pass your suggestion to our developers so we can think about accompanying this with some of the next versions.

If you have any further details about your solution/attempts, we can try to help or give some advice.

Regards,
Zdenek
