E-Mail Notification Issue
Hi there,
About a week ago, we started experiencing issues with e-mails not being forwarded on to our enquiry inbox after forms had been submitted on the website. After checking the e-mail queue, we found the e-mails were queued ready to be sent however, the system hadn't made any attempt to send them.
We ran several tests on all of our website's forms at the time and didn't receive an e-mail from any of them. Sending e-mails directly from the Kentico e-mail queue seemed to work fine though.
We found about 12 hours later the system finally sent them on.
The action I took was to restart the Kentico service, clear the system cache and clear unused memory. This action (so far) seems to have fixed the issue.
I was just wondering if anyone else had experienced this same issue or something similar? If not, does anyone know why this might have happened? Should I be doing regular clearances of the cache, etc? If so, how regularly?
