Hi I recently applied hotfix 5.0.7 (.Net 3.5) which corrected the bug that was troubling me. However the version number in CMSDesk is still v5.0.3693. Any reason why?

How do I determine that a path has worked? I just updated to the 5.5 hotfix and in the CMS Manager it states my version is 5.5.3828.

I agree. IMHO in the login box of CMSdesk there should which is the last hotfix applied and bot only the build. we cannot remember that 5.5.5 is equivalent to 5.5 build3828

So you say that all CMS*.dll in bin are identical ? In this case why you do 2 different hotfix packages ?
