You can use the CMS.TreeEngine.TreeProvider class, it provides methods for selecting one or multiple nodes. The function SelectSingleNode accepts a node GUID for one of its overloads.

In your document type..go to section "Field Appearance" there you will find "Form Control". You can select "Media Selection". This will ensure the images that can be added are only from your media library. Does it solve your purpose? Thanks, Chetan
