Need to top 10 articles in repeater based on clicks of the article.(or) Article with most read should be on the top.

Are you using EMS? Have you looked at any of the Web Analytics Macros you can access?

I'd recommend you to use repeater with custom query. Custom query should be join of CMS_Article with CMS_Document and web analytics tables.

Make sure web analytics is enabled for your site.

You might use existing reports (most likely Page Views) to get an idea of getting most popular (visited) page.
