upgrade kentico error

Hi I have upgraded my kentico site from version 8.2 to 9. There is lots of custom code but now it successfully upgraded. I am getting following error can anyone suggest solution for this.

The name 'IsFileTypeAllowed' does not exist in the current context

in this file C:\inetpub..\CMS\CMSFormControls\Basic\UploadControl.ascx.cs

upgrade form 8.2 to 9

Hello,

did you perfom upgrade manually? It looks like this file was omitted, because the file "CMS\CMSFormControls\Basic\UploadControl.ascx.cs" doesn't exists in Kentico 9.

You should remove it.

BTW. This file was moved to "CMS\CMSFormControls\Media\UploadControl.ascx.cs" and it doesn't contains IsFileTypeAllowed

I performed upgrade by upgrade tool only. If I remove this file then is there any possibility to affect other files?

First check if the new file exists in "CMS\CMSFormControls\Media\UploadControl.ascx.cs", if exists login to Kentico check in the Form controls the UploadControl, check the File name (it should be Media/UploadControl.ascx). If it doesn't exists I would recommend you to restore your backups and make upgrade process again, because maybe more files are corrupted.
