Unigrid: enable data exports to CSV

I check all online documentation, apparently by setting the [ShowActionsMenu] property to true (either in a declaration or programmatically) should display the hamburger that pops the options to export the data. So far I could not make this to work no matter what I tried.

Where exactly you're trying to add it? IS it on the front end? Administration? Custom module?

Hi Roman, thank you for the reply; yeah, it is in CMS desk, in user management; we are using Unigrids extensively but this is the first time in K8 when I am trying to leverage its intrinsic export ability. This is a grid with a fairly simple XMl descriptor and a straight data-set (no external item bindings or other transformations).

Does the action menu show you any options? Have you defined any action menu items yourself?

Hi David, nope, no hamburger, nothing; and the way I go about is the simple methodical approach: you look at the documentation and other samples (you can see one in MassEmails_Recipients.aspx); I don't see any explicit "options" being setup for exports anywhere; remember, these are not the old good 'actions' that have been around for few K. versions now.
