See when a contact is subscribed to a email campaign/contact group

Hello

In function of GDPR, we should see, when a contact has been subscribed to a campaign. We're keeping the subscribers in contact groups.

Is there a way to see when a contact had been added to a Contact group?

In the Table there is no DateTime value.

To add a contact to a new campaign, do you not need to gain consent from the contact? You may already have the personal inforamtion, but - in my understanding - you can't re-use it without agreement. I wodul have thought that ultimately, the consent provided by the contact should have is the date you're looking for. My assumption is you need to know when so that you can be informed on how long the data can be retained? (Article 13 I think)

I'm not aware of a way to find this information. As you say, there is nothing in the table OM_ContactGroupMember that could record this. Going forward, you could create a custom event to track this?

From a GDPR perspective, do you need to see when or just whether they are or not?
