RSS feed showing in sharepoint

I have an rss set up on a kentico site that the end user is trying to use in sharepoint. They are getting an error that says sharepoint doesn't support authenticated rss feeds. Is there anything I can do on my end for it to work or do they need to do something in sharepoint?

Easy answer is no. SharePoint does not like authenticated RSS feeds. There are some hack type work arounds and some 3rd party web parts you can add, but overall there is not a solid out of the box solution.

One other way is to consume the RSS feed via jQuery or Javascript and pass it to the location on the page you want it to reside.
