RSS Data Feed difference between 7.0 and 8.1

We are having trouble with a RSS feed displaying using ver.7 but it works fine using ver.8.1 on a development server. What would have changed between versions and if something did change, is there a hotfix we can apply for version 7? Upgrading is not possible at the moment.

Yes there is an hotfix version 7.0.2 available for RSS feeds you can download it from here 7.0.2 download.

Fixed Bug Information:

Syndication - Facebook and Twitter RSS feeds

Facebook and Twitter RSS feeds weren't processed correctly by the 'RSS data source' web part.
