Publish to not clearing from

I have tried to clear the publish to date for multiple documents in the database but it is not reflecting on the site. The site still shows them for what ever reason.

I have cleared them in the cms_documents table and the cms_versionhistory table. Are they located in another place that I am missing?

Is there a specific reason you are doing that directly in the database?

the site users had created 100's of documents over the last several months and had set publish to dates when they were not necessary. Now the documents don't show on the site and they don't understand why.
