Performance issue at CMS Admin

One of our client came up with the performance issue(loading time is high) specifically at CMS Admin side.

Can you please suggest what all aspect I can check to make sure better performance or reduce the loading time?

Kentio version: v 8.1.17 Hosted environment: MS Azure

Please let me know if any further information required from my end.

One of the main reason the site loads slow is if it has to fetch all the data from kentico database on every instance. On a ideal situation it stores the kentico objects in the internal Cache, so every subsequent visit to the same page in CMS_Admin should be faster. Increase the cache period from the Kentico admin(system) and try?

If you upgrade to 10 you will see a significant improvement in loading time. If that is not an option, what size of instance are you using in Azure? Is everything in the same region? Same resource group?

What size is your SQL DB in Azure?
