If you're looking for opens on a per newsletter issue basis you could get the newsletter issue info:

var newsletterIssue = IssueInfoProvider.GetIssueInfo(issueGuid, SiteContext.CurrentSiteID);

and then use the IssueOpenedEmails property:

var opens = newsletterIssue.IssueOpenedEmails;
