Not able to upload .js file in Themes folder

I have installed kentico9 on my system. I am developing new website using kentico9. I want to upload .js files in Themes catagory in CSS Stylesheet application but it is not allowing to upload .js files.

Error is: "You cannot upload file with the .js extension." Can you help me to solve it out?

Hello,

You cant upload there your js file. By this application you can only upload files commonly used by CSS stylesheets. but for js files you have another application "Javascript files" where you can manage .js files. Full documentation of this app you can find here
