MVC Widget to get / insert image from media library

Hello all,

How can we upload the image in page builder to media library using a widget and how can i select image from media library.

Is there any easy way of doing it using existing Kentico form controls ? Or we have to build widget/inline form control(to select image from media library) from scratch ?

At the moment you need to create your own.

In the latest blog post about the K12 Service Pack (planned to be released in June) there is a note about more ready to use inline editors:

Therefore, along with the Kentico 12 Service Pack’s release, we will also provide you with a range of selectors ready for your MVC projects so you can develop faster.

Since this feature is quite new not much examples are available, but give it time and the community will be able to supply more and more examples!

Hello,

I am currently also looking for a widget to insert an image from the media library. Is there already something like that available? Or is there an example where I can start from to build my own?

Hi Jelle,

yes this is released! See more information at the "New Selectors and Components" section of the following post: kentico.com/blog/what-the-kentico-12-service-pack-brings-to-customers

You can simply apply the latest hotfix to your solution and you'll get the new features (and selectors).
